Breath work practice you can grow and own .... breathing calms and focuses the mind bringing clarity which grows into a clearer and more steady state of body and mind..... it is loved by students who embrace it.....our studio space was intimate and is now used for one to one and small group bookings only. Our classes have moved to warm and cosy halls as per below. These Yoga sessions are where a new and much needed focus to learning how to deepen the connection to and be able to control our breath along with therapeutic postures for hip, back, shoulder and neck alignment.

NB - Small group classes can be set up on request .....so for example if you have a small group who wish Yoga for weight loss.....stress relief ...... pre-natal...... If you wish I can organise for up to 6 people to do a one off session or a regular weekly session for you .... maybe on your lunchtime ....... I am open to what our community wants or needs. :-)
Yoga One to One and Breath Coaching -
Pranayama is the fourth limb of Yoga. After we have started Asana (postures) we move into Pranayama .... as instructed in traditional text. It is the biggest Tapas in the yogic system, of Patanjali's eight limbs. Tapas means to burn away and to purify and that is exactly what we are doing here. We are burning away the toxins and we are purifying the Prana. Prana is the life force within us. We are allowing the body space to heal .... to encourage all systems to regulate and to feel alive, well and happy. To be well and have the Yoga work for us we need action .... this is the action .... and it works..... it has lots of sections to it ....different cleanses....to prepare for deeper work....different pranayama for each individual depending on their needs. It is a wonderful tool and a wonderful way to start each day. Over time it regulates our bio-rhythms bringing them back into complete synch.

Breathing practices really help a variety of conditions including Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Low self esteem, Anger management, Recovery from illness, Balance of hormones/mood, insomnia , bowel problems etc.
In these sessions a full consultation will be given first. The needs are unique for each individual.
Alongside a practice to learn and follow you may be given diet advice according to Ayurveda, postures, massage recommendations and herbs.
The breath is a powerful tool. Siobhan has trained extensively in India since 2004 and is one of only 18 in the world with this unique set of skills as a breath master after 4 years intensive study at one of the top Institutes in India and 17 years with her Yoga master. In teaching you how to control and channel the breath the right way you can learn how to train the nervous system and keep a far steadier and happier mindset. Life is good when we breathe right.
Yoga one to one for the body -
Physical yoga (Asana) can be a gentle Hatha Yoga session or a dynamic flow session.... it can be for relieving muscular tension and pain....or toning areas of the body that have become weak and stretching parts of the body which have become tight. Whichever way the practice is therapeutic and relieves tension in the body allowing energy to free more easily which in return calms and frees up the mind. Adaptations can always be made so we have something for everyone.

Yoga Therapy Teacher Training -
Running in November 2023 for the first time this Yoga training is an amazing journey learning tools for life and for helping others. All applicants through our sister website PRANA FOR LIFE and this course will be run in Glasgow West End studio @ Our World Yoga.
